Global Projects Standards

A unique standard convention that should be used to track, measure and monitor Global Projects across different channels and platforms.

Where can I find it?

The Global Project Standards list is now hosted on Google Sheets. You can visualize it by logging in with your Greenpeace account.

How does it work?

The Global Project Standards is a list managed by Greenpeace International to standardize reporting in global priority campaigns. These standards are used in global reporting and help us to correctly attribute performance data to specific campaigns' outputs.

These values as automatically synced with globally supported tools (eg. Planet 4 and Burlo) but they can also be easily added to any other external system.

How is the list updated?

The list is frequently reviewed by the GPI Data Team, but you can also request a new value to be added by opening a ticket to gpi-data-support@greenpeace.org.

What should be tracked?

The Global Project Standards can be used to track any website page or content that is directly related to a project.

For example, the standards can be used to track the following platforms:

  • Websites: Planet 4; Advocacy Pages; Fundraising Pages; etc

  • Web Traffic: Burlo; Custom Link Building Tools; etc
